Overlooked Orchid

Do we have to be thinking about Halloween already. Went to the store last week, and they had Halloween candy out. Went to Walmart this past week as well, and they are starting to move out their “back to school” stuff, and putting in Halloween invitations and stuff. Why is it that they make such a big to do about such “holidays”?? I mean, I can understand Christmas, and Easter, and 4th of July (kind of)…but why a 2 month preparation time on Halloween, and other such holidays. You don’t see a big to do about Thanksgiving, and that’s one of my most favorite holidays. I guess it’s because you can’t make much money off of people giving thanks…but you can on selling costumes and candy and decorations. A sad state of the world I think.
