Overlooked Orchid

Reaching for her acne cream out of the medicine cabinet, she avoided looking at herself in the mirror. She had never been confident, never thought of herself as pretty, nor had she thought of herself as ugly, until recently. It was hard to accept the changes in her appearance, and yet there was nothing to be done about it, at least not until she had money, and even still, things would never be the same, but at least they would be better. Money was the issue though, she often wondered if she would ever have the money, as it always seemed that the money was used elsewhere, on other things.
