Working for the st thomas hotels was a dream come true for her. She loved the hotel industry, with all the details to work out, and the blending of people that she saw and interacted with on a daily basis. All people had their “thing” and people were her “thing”. She took pride in her work, and more than anything she loved talking to, and getting to know the guests at what she considered “her hotel”. It wasn’t really hers, she didn’t own it, would probably never be rich enough to own something so nice as the St Thomas Hotels, but she worked there, lived there, and loved the people there, so it was “hers”.
