Grohe Faucet
Posted by Vicki on Mar 30, 2010
Once I dreamed of all the things I would want in “my” house….now I don’t care if it has a Grohe faucet, or a Walmart brand faucet, as long as it had a faucet of some sort that I could call my own!!
I want to move sooo bad it’s unbelievable to most, because most don’t know the full circumstances in which I currently exist. I keep hoping and praying things will change. They have to, time is running out!!
Wood Blinds
Posted by Vicki on Mar 30, 2010
I’ve never had wood blinds before, but depending on where we move I might be looking into them, simply because they shouldn’t break as easily as the regular plastic or metal ones. I’ve always like curtains more than blinds though. They seem less trouble. No strings to get tangled up, no fear of the slats getting all bent and broken. Although washing curtains can sometimes be a hassle.
Life Insurance Rate
Posted by Vicki on Mar 30, 2010
I’ve been thinking about finding out some different options for more life insurance. In my mind, you can’t have too much, but then I suppose that does depend on the life insurance rates.
Am I rather morbid to keep thinking that something might happen to me? Or maybe I just want to be set for if something does. I just wish there were a few other things that I knew were settled, if something did happen to me, but I’m afraid that’s out of my hands at the moment.

Truly enjoyed this book, and the peek into the Amana Colonies. The book was well written, and the charactors engaging. I look forward to another book like this!

ABOUT THE BOOK
In our sound-byte society, short stories and poems will always have a place, especially when they’ve been penned by the likes of Terry Burns. This, the first of four in The Sagebrush Collection, is a compilation of fictional, autobiographical, and fiction-based-on-fact shorts and poems.
Through fluent cowboy-speak, author Terry Burns shares his heart with these sometimes somber, often humorous, always engaging glimpses of life. From short stories about time machines and troubled marriages to poems of roses and hauntingly cold winds, you’ll find much to savor on the pages within.
A born storyteller, Burns style is natural, conversational, and above all real. He’s a fifth generation Irish tale-weaver and a fourth generation Texas Teller of Tall Tales. Storytelling comes as natural to him as breathing.
Come along with Terry as he journeys “On the Road Home”. You’ll be glad you did.

NEED MORE COFFEE
Posted by Vicki on Mar 22, 2010
Yes, I know all caps is not the proper way to do things, but that’s how I feel this morning. Life is full of issues and problems right now, coffee seems to be my only lifeline. *LOL* No things aren’t quite that bad, but it’s deffinitely been rough this past week!!!! The problems are far from over too!!!
This week will be spent trying to fix some of the problems that started last week. Car issues with both the cars, so I am without transportation. Computer issue with Dad’s backup drive. I’m not sure what I can do about that, but I can try. Plus still trying to find a place to move to!!!
I keep trying to hang on, to have faith that things will work out, but I’m tired. Tired of taking 1 step forward and 4 back. Tired of always struggling, of one thing or another always messing up.
Anyway, life goes on, and at least work is going okay!

I wish life in general was as simple as the internet. With a few click heres you can retrieve any information you want, buy just about anything you want, etc. Life has been difficult lately, and no matter where I “click” it just seems to get harder!
Yes, I am feeling a bit down right now. Seems we take one step forward, and 4 back!! Things were just starting to turn around, with the exception of moving, and now things are a mess. Where is my delete button?
How To Get Rid Of Blackheads
Posted by Vicki on Mar 22, 2010
I can’t say I ever worried about how to get rid of blackheads. Simply washing my face with warm water and mild soap usually did the trick for me. There were times when I seemed to be breaking out a bit more than normal when I would use a facial cleanser, but I never needed any special products, or to consult my Doctor for the issues. I hope the girls are as lucky as I was.
Blackhead Treatment
Posted by Vicki on Mar 22, 2010
The girls are growing up so quickly it seems. They are starting to become interested in makeup, looking just right, and personal care products like blackhead treatment.
The “looking just right” doesn’t bother me at this age, as they are just trying to find their look. Something that they are comfortable with, instead of not really caring how they look.
I would have been happy if the makeup and such at waited for awhile yet though. Although this does give me time to teach them how to apply the makeup, the right colors and such.
Testosterone Boosters That Work
Posted by Vicki on Mar 22, 2010
I don’t know why anyone would be looking for testosterone boosters that work. To my way of thinking there is too much testosterone in the world anyway. *LOL* Or maybe I should rephrase that to too many hormones period. Manly men, the type that seem to think females are stupid or incapable annoy me to no end. I hate being treated like I don’t even know how to check the oil in my car. I don’t know a lot about mechanics, but I do know the general maintence on them.
