Not Energetic

I have been lagging behind on my work. I’m not proud to say it, but it’s true. It’s not that I don’t enjoy my work, because I really do, it’s just that lately things have been so busy. When we haven’t been busy I have wanted to relax, or when I have tried to work, I seem to get interupted continuously. Anyway, I’ve had to batten down the hatches tonight, and not let anything disturb me, as I had to get some work done.
Speaking of battening down the hatches, we had a heck of a storm here just a few days ago. We didn’t stay here for it, we went to Emporia. Adam had been down visiting for acouple of days, and we were taking him home. We drove through some pretty nasty rain, but that was all. When we got to Emporia we heard there was a tornado only about 15 miles away from here, so we decided to stay in Emporia that night. It was lots of fun, and thankfully no damage was done here while we were gone.
