Stashing away my stuff in style

I have a whole lot of stuff and I hate for my home to look cluttered. But I don’t want to sacrifice any of my stuff for that. So I need to come up with a better way to store all of that stuff. One of my main problems is all of my fashion accessories, which I simply can’t part with.
When it comes to storage for that, it’s also necessary to find something that will be easy for me to access on a daily basis when I get ready for work. I looked online for some good storage stuff for my jewelry and scarves, when I saw some info on Sears siding installation that I had to read through. The exterior of my home has seen better days, so I think that I’m going to make sure that it starts looking better again by getting the siding replaced.
I have found lots of different solutions for storing my fashions. It seems that a lot of people have done the hard work for me because this is a problem lots of people have!
Term Life Insurance
Posted by Vicki on Mar 15, 2012
My Dad received an offer to increase his term life insurance, unfortunetly this would more than double his payment. It’s rather sad that life insurance has to be so expensive, especially if you are a smoker, or an older person!!! I suppose that’s why so many people don’t have life insurance, or not enough to do any real good when it comes to paying funeral expenses and such.
On my Way

I’ve always wanted to move back to the town where I grew up. After my grandmother died and left me her house, I had the perfect opportunity to do so. The only thing holding me back was my work! After doing some research, I put together a presentation for my boss on how I could be just as effective an employee while working from home. With internet service from satellite star internet.com it would be easy for me to submit my daily work as well as get my required tasks online. Much to my surprise, he bought it with little resistance! Now I’m on my way to living the life I’ve always dreamed of. Close to family in the place I love still doing the work I’ve enjoyed since I graduatedfrom college. Now all I need to complete the dream are a husband, a picket fence, a dog and 2.5 kids. I guess there’s still work to do but at least I’m on my way!
Heated Clothing
Posted by Vicki on Mar 5, 2012
The idea of heated clothing is quite intriguing!! I have to say I’m sure I’d be glad for some heated clothing during some of the winters here in Kansas, and think about the people in North Dakota, Montana, or Alaska!!!
Maybe I’m just getting old, so I feel the cold more. I know my poor knees certainly protest any chilly days!!! Maybe some nice heated jeans, or heated leg warmers!!!
Numia

I have no idea what numia is, what it’s for, anything like that. However I have found the internet to be a quick and easy way to research things I don’t know.
I think the art of research is under-rated in today’s society. But maybe I only think that, and I’m actually completely off base!! It is possible, and I know it….I’m off base on many of my opinions I’m sure.
FDA Food Pyramid
Posted by Vicki on Mar 5, 2012
Does anyone else find it odd that the fda food pyramid has changed from when we were kids?
When I was a kid there were 4 food groups… Meats, dairy, fruits, and veggies. Now dairy is called the milk group, and we also throw in oils…Really? Why do we have to change things like that….can’t we teach kids that dairy is milk? And even though it’s not a main group, our bodies need a small amount of fats and oils??
Wood Pergolas
Posted by Vicki on Feb 25, 2012
I’ve always thought that the wood pergolas were kind of cool looking. I’m not sure it would be something that I would spend money on, but then there are so many things that I say that about.
If I had unlimited money, there are a lot of things I would do, but since I doubt that will ever be the case I guess I continue to window shop.
Duncan Yoyo

I wonder if the duncan yoyo is better than your run-of-the-mill grocery store yoyo? I miss having a good quality yoyo!! I had alot of fun with yoyos when I was a kid. *LOL* Yep, I guess I’m old, because yoyos certainly are old-school fun!!
Nowadays the fun comes in the form of DS’s and X-box Kinect. *sigh* I wish things weren’t so advanced.
Getting Some Stability

I have moved so many times in the last few years that I can’t even remember all of the cities I have lived in. I work for a restaurant chain that sends me to cities to open new locations. I stay in the new cities from the point where we lease the commercial space, to the point where the staff is hired, the restaurant is open, and everything is going smoothly. In the more problematic locations I could be there for nine months to a year. At a location where the restaurant opens without a hitch, it usually takes four to six months. I am glad that my employeris finally giving me the chance to stay in Nashville for a few years. They want me to manage one of our busier locations that has had some problems lately, and it is a more permanent position. I am excited, and have already found a house. Now I have to get things ready so I can move in. I have already looked into tennesse home security and have an idea of what I need. Now I just need to connect my cable, internet, and phone and I should be good to go.
Bajulimports Pandora Jewelry
Posted by Vicki on Feb 3, 2012
I had to admit my curiousity when I ran across “bajulimports pandora jewelry“. So I took the time to go take a peek. I was pleasently suprised. Now I will tell you that when I was “window shopping” on their website, I did not pay a bit of attention to prices, so I can’t tell you if they are really expensive or not. But I can tell you that I liked their stuff.
