Address Yard Signs

Do you know how easy it would be to find places if they all had address yard signs?? I have seen some before and I think they are neat! You can get them in all kinds of styles, so they don’t have to be tacky looking, and they make it so much easier for people like me to be able to find new places!

I don’t know about carpet cleaning raleigh nc, but I’ve wondered if that type of business would have much sucess around here. Of course thinking about it at the moment doesn’t do me a lot of good, because my steam cleaner is on the fritz.
Plans are to get me a new one in the spring. It will be desparately needed by then, as I was hoping to clean them before winter set in, and it just didn’t happen.
Motor Home Repairs

I am thankful that I don’t have to worry about motor home repairs on top of everything else.
Really, life right now is pretty good. I don’t have a lot of worries or concerns, but that could change in a moments time. I was worried yesterday, but then a conversation helped work some things out, and I think we’re going to be okay now.
Plaques

I’ve received a few plaques in my time. Several when I earned the Girl Scout Gold Award, and one for my involvement in saving the rainforest when I was a child.
While plaques can be special, it was the things I have done to received them that are really impressed upon my memory. I remember reading a newspaper article about the rainforest, and all the animals that were/are in danger from it’s destruction, and that is what got me started selling bumper stickers and buttons…It may not seem like much now, but I was only about 12 or so.

Mom knows best…I don’t know why I just don’t believe that by now. She’s always got the right answers and when I was starting my own dress line I knew just who to go to for advice on everything from www.smallbusiness.xo.com to hiring a seamstress to selling the dresses to stores. She’s been in the business world for decades and though she recently retired she’s definitely the most business minded of anyone in the family. I wish I had her savvy but I guess having her on my side is close enough for me! I love that I can talk to my mom openly and honestly about everything from money to work and even my own marriage… I think that a lot of my friends are a bit envious of the great relationship I have with my mom and I have to say that I understand why. I would be sad if something ever came between us but with the way we are I know that’s not going to happen anytime soon!
Holiday Invitations

Tis the season for holiday invitations!! I’m so excited to be moving into the holiday season. I’m excited about Thanksgiving because the girls and I will probably be spending the day with my Mom and brothers and sisters. Then on the following Saturday, which is my Dad’s birthday, I will cook him a big Thanksgiving/birthday dinner.
The girls have already done much of their Christmas shopping, but I won’t be doing mine until the first part of December. I am excited, as I love Christmas shopping!!
Barcode Scanners

So here I am trying to do some research on barcode scanners, and I feel as if I’m never going to get it done, because of interuptions. Which is more important, my work, or helping Des?? Ugh, they both are important, so I suppose I continue trying to multi-task, in order to get it all done. Hopefully we can not only get it all done, but we can also do it in a timely manner.

I love websites like this. They make it so easy to find what I’m looking for. You can search by the number of bedrooms you want, price range, and also type of housing. Isn’t it great?
I only wish there were more of these types of websites available in my area of the United States. They are common enough in larger cities, but not so much in the more rural areas.
Crowd Control

A topic of little importance to many people is crowd control, however for those with businesses like banks, or ticket places, crowd control means a lot.
There are several different kinds of things you can use for crowd control. There are velvet ropes, barricades, and stanchions.
All of these products are very useful if you need a bit of help controling the masses at your next event.

You know I love my work, I truly do. I love that I can work from home, I love that my work works around my life schedule, and I love that my work involves writing. I have always enjoyed writing, and once aspired to be the next Louis L’Amour or Nora Roberts.
However one thing about my work does annoy me. It’s when I get sent keywords that are not grammatically correct. Take nutritionists austin for instance. It should be “nutritionists IN Austin”. I’m not perfect when it comes to grammar rules, but I do remember a few things. *LOL*
