I was asked not too many weeks ago what I considered a “blessing”.  I thought it was an interesting question, and of course, there were several things that came immediately to mind.  Afterwards, I got to thinking about the question even more.  Then I got to wondering what other people consider a “blessing”.  Do people consider the same things “blessings” that I do?  Do I consider some things “blessings” that others don’t?  As I’ve thought about it over the last couple of weeks, I’ve found that the answer to the last question is probably “yes”.  As for the first question, I’m not too sure on that one.  Have YOU thought about the “blessings” in your life lately?  Have you thought about all those little things that are normally taken for granted and thanked God for the good ones as “blessings”?  Personally, I think that it’s the “little things” that are normally taken for granted that get forgotten when people are counting their blessings.  I have taken up the habit of attempting to remember some of the “little things” that are actually blessings when I am thanking God for my blessings.  Maybe you should too.
