Scattered Ramblings

…on the day before my Mother’s birthday, and on the day that, according to the last phone call I had, they were going to take my ex-Mother-In-Law off of life support this afternoon.  Kind of ironic (is that the word I want?)…this whole situation over the Summer with my ex-Mother-In-Law.  I’ve been there and done that with another member of my family.  About the only major difference is the fact that my ex-Mother-In-Law has been in the hospital for the last several months, and the other member of my family that I watch a similar situation unfold was only in the hospital for 2 days.  Of course, by the time this other member of my family went to the hospital, they already had the infection in her blood stream, so it was basically already too late.

Kind of interesting, this morning here at home.  After the phone calls to let me know what was going on, I tuned into a church service on-line, and guess what the sermon is about….Closing the doors to the enemy.

My ex-Mother-In-Law, from what I’ve been told this morning has a VERY slim chance of living after they take her off of life support, but there IS a chance.  We aren’t totally giving up hope and praying for her yet.

More later….maybe….Blessings!!
