Someone called me the other day trying to “sell” me a “free” Royal Caribbean cruise.  I’ve never been on a cruise, but their deal just didn’t sound all that great.  Maybe some day my son and I can experience a cruise, though.  That would be a GREAT vacation, or so they tell me!

Had a varmit visit last night (or so we are assuming) and are now missing 6 of our special order chicks that we were going to be using for breeding this next Spring.  Will leave one of the dogs out tonight and see what happens.

It seems, as the Summer is going quickly by, that my days are getting busier and busier.  Life here at home is FULL of activity with all of our animals and the possibility of some more in the next 3 or 4 weeks, if things go right.  I would have to say that busy-ness is my natural weight loss formula…..LOTS of activity with the animals, and not much time to sit down and take a break some days.

Have gotten a halter on Alice the last 3 or 4 days!!!  Wouldn’t you know it?  She actually leads, and she has NO fear of a lariat!!!  She also, at SOME point, has apparently either had some rope training or has been tangled up and/or hurt in a rope or something similar.  My partner and I have been picketing her out in the pasture and letting Pheline be loose out there because we figure Pheline isn’t going too far as long as Alice is staying put.  I’m KIND of interested to see how she reacts to saddle blankets and a saddle.

Got some goats the other day.  Someone was getting rid of them because they aren’t “show worthy” anymore, so now we have two adult female milking goats and a little buck (the son of one of the females that’s not weaned…YET).  It has been interesting the last few days because they have actually been eating on the black locust trees that we have out in the pasture….thorns and all!!!  WORKS FOR US!!!!  Maybe they can help us get the things killed!!!

I’m afraid that I don’t know much about buying bridesmaid gifts because it’s NOT something that I buy on a regular basis.  What do you buy as bridesmaid gifts anyway?  Maybe this is something I need to study on some….just so I know for the next time we have to buy something like that.  I forsee a few weddings coming up in the next couple of years…..more than likely.

…What the best solution is for any one person?  I have been wondering that in the last couple of days, as I’ve had a suggestion from someone this week on something that he thinks I should do….but I’m not that sure.  Unfortunately, it’s not as easy as picking which would be the best eye cream, but it has caused me to do some searching in the last couple of days.  I have pretty well made a decision to take a faith stand on this (and other major areas in our lives), and THAT will take the place of what this person suggested.

Making a few changes here at home….on a personal level….to put me on a different level, spiritually as well as physically, emotionally, and financially.  And I have done what one of the Preacher’s that I listen too ALOT said he did when he took his first major faith stand….he told God that he was going to tell WHATEVER God did…If it was good, he was going to tell it….and if it was bad, he was going to tell it.  So….in one way or another….I am going to tell if God is taking care of things like I believe He should….or if He’s not….I have decided to take a different view on several things this week…and do a few things different….so we’ll see if God’s Word is true….God does NOT lie, so it HAS to be true, so now is His time to prove it!

How many different ways can I write about basically the same topic?  Hmmmmmm…..I think we are probably going to find out, so forgive me if I repeat myself here and there in some of these entries.

I still don’t really understand all of the “need” and hype about dieting solutions.  I read reviews on some of the newer ones here and there, including some apidexin reviews.  I guess it is just like everything else in American society…..people want an easy fix for their problems…..

You would think that more of the American public would need to use an under eye cream for dark circles, considering that the American public is one of the top 5 that don’t get enough sleep on a regular basis.  Isn’t it amazing how our society is tied to life by cell phones, game systems, television, and computers, and we are supposed to be one of the most advanced nations in the world….and yet we are one of the nations that have the most problem staying healthy and getting enough sleep?  Interesting, ain’t it?

We live in an age where things are moving faster than they ever have before, both scientifically and unscientifically.  There are SEVERAL areas of science that are making advancements which have made me stop and wonder if man was even MEANT to be doing it, especially in the area of medicine.  Some of the things that they are using for things like hair loss prevention are controversial, as well as dangerous, as we do not yet know the long-term-use effect that these chemicals have on the human body.

There are alot of things that I don’t need to use at this point.  Things of all sizes, shapes, colors, and descriptions.  I don’t need to find the best wrinkle cream, and I don’t need to find the best deal at a garage sale.  I don’t need to buy much meat, at this point, as our freezer downstairs is filling up fairly quickly.
